November 7/07 - The host Serge Postigo will receive the ROBERTO LÓPEZ PROJECT in his show Ça manque à ma culture, Wednesday, November 7, at 7:30PM (the show plays again at 11PM and the following Thursday at 3PM) on Télé-Québec. Roberto López (vocals & tiple) will be accompanied by Jesus Cantero (vocals & percussions), Jairo Gómez (vocals & bass), and by the show's musical director Jean-François Groulx (percussions).

June 11/07 - The ROBERTO LÓPEZ PROJECT will be on stage for the opening concert of the 19th FrancoFolies de Montréal. This « trip de gang » that unites diferent artists and musical styles, will be presented on Thursday July 26 at 9PM on the l’Aire Ford Focus stage. The show will be hosted by Daniel Boucher with Lynda Thalie, H’Sao, Taima, Marco Calliari and the Roberto López Project together on stage! The concert will be filmed for the TV channels ILLICO and ARTV.
March 20/07 - The album QUE PASA has been selected as a finalist in the Indie Acoustic Project’s “Best CDs of 2006” awards in the Latin category. The winners in each category will be selected and announced by April 30. The 45 CDs selected as finalists constitute the very best acoustic music released in the past year.
February 21/07 - Roberto López
Project will be presenting a show at the 11th Festivalíssimo on March 9, at noon on the MIDIS FESTIVALISSIMO at Place Alexis-Nihon (Montreal).
February 12/07 - Roberto López Project is invited to the TV show Belle et Bum. On this ocassion Roberto and Inés will be performing with the show's orchestra live from the Théàtre Plaza in Montréal. The show airs on Télé-Québec Saturday February 17 at 9PM. It airs again on Friday February 23 at 10PM.

14/06 - The year is coming to an end and we are happy to share some great news: the album QUE PASA? was included in the TOP 25 best world music albums by Rhythms International: MIX96 (Montreal). The album also reached #1 position for 4 weeks at CIUT's (Toronto) International charts, and stayed on the TOP 10 for several weeks. We want to thank everyone for their support and we want to wish everybody happy holidays. See you next year!

22/06 - We are launching the video clip for QUE PASA? (produced
by Kartel Films with the finanacial support of MusiMax through
MaxFACT).

14/06 - We will begin shooting the video-clip for the song "Que
pasa?" in a couple of weeks. And we are also working
on a video for the song "Resistencia". The first
one will be released at the end of November, and the second
one in March 2007.

opening theme for
the film Souvenir
Kids (Souvenirs d'Acapulco) that is playing at the film
festival: 8es
RIDM in Montreal. Besides composing and producing all
the original music of the film, Roberto wrote the horn section
melodies for the closing theme for the film which was written
by
Daniel Russo Garrido.

We'll be doing some live (on-site recording) sessions at
the Oscar
Peterson Concert Hall in Montreal. A big
thank you to the management of the hall and to the Music
Department at Concordia University for making this possible.
The acoustic space in the hall is really incredible! You'll

Frostell is lending his talents for the recording
sessions. Claus has worked with artists such as Moist, David
Usher, Jean Leloup, Gaia, The Planet Smashers, The Gruesomes
and The Snitches just to name a few.
